I looked at many star patterns and decided to give this one a try. It uses all HST (half square triangles) with none of the dreaded Y seams on the sides. I picked up the fabric at Hancocks, 2 fat quarter bundles and 2 or 3 1/2 yard cuts. They weren't marked with any name or manufacturer. I love the colors though and may claim this quilt for myself. I love how this block has pinwheels in the center. This block is finishing at 12". I will have 20 total. The blocks below are on the wall in no certain order. I will probably put 2 1/2" sashing in between the blocks.

Very pretty fabrics that work terrific with that star pattern.
